Product Description

ACEY-BIT100-30A120A battery comprehensive tester is used for comprehensive testing of finished Lithium battery packs. The equipment supports dual functions and can be used as both an electronic load and a comprehensive battery tester. The test items include battery open-circuit voltage, AC internal resistance, continuous charge current, continuous charge voltage, continuous discharge current, continuous discharge voltage, charge overcurrent protection current, discharge overcurrent protection current, short-circuit protection time, overcurrent delay time, and voltage after testing.

 

Test Items

1 Voltage Test The tester measures voltage twice: first as open-circuit voltage, and second after all tests are completed, especially after short-circuit protection testing, to verify battery status. The second voltage is slightly lower than the first. 0–100 V
2 AC Internal Resistance Measures battery AC internal resistance at 1000 Hz. 0–4000 mΩ
3 Charge Overcurrent Protection Current Verifies whether the battery activates protection when charging current exceeds the limit. This function is critical to prevent damage to the protection PCB. If not available, continuous charge current is selected instead. 0–30 A
4 Continuous Charge Current For batteries without charge overcurrent protection, the charge current is typically set to match the charger rating. 0–30 A
5 Continuous Charge Voltage Monitoring During continuous charging, upper and lower voltage limits can be set to determine whether the battery voltage exceeds the allowed range. 0–100 V
6 Discharge Overcurrent Protection Current & Delay Time When discharge current exceeds a preset value, protection is triggered automatically. Parameters are usually set according to the battery specification. 0–120 A
7 Continuous Discharge Current Evaluates whether the battery can sustain normal discharge current. PCB faults may cause failure to maintain continuous discharge. 0–120 A
8 Continuous Discharge Voltage Monitoring During continuous discharge, voltage upper and lower limits can be set to determine whether the battery voltage is out of range. 0–100 V
9 Short-Circuit Protection Time Measures protection response time when battery terminals are shorted. Faster response provides better protection. Typical requirement is below 1000 μs. Excessive short-circuit time may result from high loop resistance and should be analyzed. Maximum short-circuit withstand current is approximately 5000 A. ≤1000 μs
10 Test Current Impact No surge or impact current is generated during testing, ensuring no damage to the battery protection PCB.
