Fully Automatic Lithium-ion Battery Pack Assembly Line for Energy Storage System

 

Product Description

This assembly line is designed for the fully automated assembly of 100–314Ah prismatic lithium-ion battery packs for ESS, EV, communication base stations, UPS, and other applications. The line integrates key processes including cell sorting, OCV testing, NG discharge, module stacking and bundling, laser cleaning and welding, polarity detection, terminal addressing, EOL testing, and final pack assembly. It supports manual and automated operations such as loading, code scanning, labeling, module and pack handling, hoisting off the line, and reflow assembly via tooling trays. Full-process data collection is implemented at each station, with reserved interfaces for seamless MES system integration.

 

Assembly Process

Manual/robot loading→Cell code scanning→Automatic OCV sorting→Manual gluing→Module automatic stacking→Manual extrusion of steel strip→Polarity detection, terminal addressing→Laser cleaning→Manual installation of busbars→Automatic laser welding→EOL test→Module line transfer→Liquid cooling box gluing→Module into box→Module fixing→Wiring harness installation→BMS installation→Top cover installation→EOL test→Air tightness test→PACK lifting offline, etc.
